Yeah got my license back when I was 17. My dad let me drive on rural country roads in his vehicles since I was 13 though so it helped me learn easier. Lots of users on here probably don’t even drive and they’re missing out. You need to get on country roads or highways at night when traffic is low though to enjoy it because driving in stop and go traffic in jammed cities sucks

but this is YOU just overcomplicating and overthinking existence as is. Overanalyzing something that was never meant to shape your life.

I used to talk to ChatGPT about life, love, relationships, etc., and whenever I told it about my barriers, its solution was always exactly what you say: that all people have problems, but they just try to ignore them because they know they can't solve them, because they come from external factors that they cannot control

But that doesn't mean they have to stay stuck there. They'll carry them with them, even if because of them everything they've built will backfire later, because their lives are chaotic almost daily or weekly, with "things always happening," drama, etc. expectations and promises are not fulfilled, disappointments arise, etc. they still don't care, they'll still try to make things work, they will hurt the people around them in the process, and maybe they will indeed fail etc.

But they will do anything just to avoid being chill, just to avoid staying where they are, they don't have a peaceful life, they don't have a routine, they don't have order in their lives, they are always fighting or stressed about something, etc.

They will go through life like a headless chicken. But ChatGPT told me that it's better to do that, to live, to enjoy the ups and downs, to make mistakes, to lie, but also to succeed and be happy when things went the way you wanted them to etc. than to stay in a state of neutrality, and always think about the ups you could have had, as well as the ones you won't have.. :feelsbadman:

Unfortunately, I feel that I cannot be "like normal people," or how ChatGPT/my parents gaslight me into being, and throw myself into the waves of this life without a lifebuoy, and make things work with what I currently have and with the help of those around me at that moment, or as they say, if you don't play the game, you can't lose it, but the reverse is also true on the fact that ''You Miss 100% of the Shots You Don’t Take''

The more I think about the things (resources of any kind) that I could have had or that I need and lack, but that others have, the more I realize how far I am from forming a relationship even though every day I see others with fewer resources than me, who have relationships, but as you said, life goes on, and eventually you will die..

Wtf

So why are you not juicing your life to the fullest before the inevitable?

All i see the people on this forum say is "i hate myself, i hate my looks, i hate my personality, i hate everything about me", but this is YOU just overcomplicating and overthinking existence as is. Overanalyzing something that was never meant to shape your life.

You're going to die. Some people will die sooner, some later, and some will choose when they die. Why do they choose to die? Because they filled every gap and lost all hope, in their eyes, their life came to an end, they can't take it anymore as they see no meaning or purpose in continuing.

So a question to YOURSELF - would you be ready to die RIGHT NOW? Do you think there's NOTHING MORE that you can do, no happiness to be found, no joy to be lived through? My guess is probably not, because you're still here, complaining about meaningless things while you could be living.

The choice is always avaliable to you aswell, but the point is to delay it as long as you can, until you've truly lived.

As long as you alive, the only thing you should strive for is finding happiness and peace.

Do you ever wonder why fat subhumans are walking around being the happiest people ever with girlfriends and 3 kids? It's because they have this exact mindset.

In reality, nothing matters, but that's just freedom in my eyes. Just do what gives you peace before you inevitably meet the end.
Real life has been improving when I stopped overturning mentally, and a lil physically, fully locked in rn finally mirin post

It reminds me of this video/ edit you sent me a long time ago.

It really meant a lot to me, because it's the truth. You will NEVER feel ready to live, and you'll never feel ready to be in a relationship.

You just start it, and realize "being ready" never existed in the first place.

You have time homie, you can find your place, and your happiness.

You’re right that everyone dies. Where I differ is in thinking death is the threat, since most people are already dead while still breathing.
They don’t suffer because life ends, they suffer because they never began, not even in a blackpilled meme type way, they were genuinely never alive to begin with, unconscious.

The real question stopped being “why not live before death?” a long time ago for me. Instead, it became: why accept a life you didn’t author?
Then, death is no longer the opponent - drifting is.

I’ll die once biologically, but I'm not afraid of it.
Most people die long before that, they just never notice.

This way of thinking is also very valid. You're an extremely smart individual gargantuan, i knew it ever since i started reading your threads.

Very well said, i'll definitely think about it more 👌 "why accept a life you didn’t author?" is something i already wondered and thought about a lot. It's by all means the correct mindset.

Yeah definitely learn to drive because it’s fun even with a basic car and gives you freedom. I’d advise getting a driver’s permit as soon as you can so you can legally start learning. If you’re in America the permit is usually super easy to get. For me it was a 15 question quiz on basic rules of the road and what certain signs mean. There wasn’t any road test for this, just that.

And once you’ve got a permit then you can drive as long as someone with a license is in the car with you. This is a great way to learn but start out on low traffic roads and empty parking lots because starting out on a highway or busy area is gonna make you nervous as hell and you’re more likely to mess up. Low traffic torn roads or country roads are a good starting point, and you’ll enjoy it more instead of being nervous as much

Then after 6 months typically is when they’ll let you be eligible for the driver’s test, and it’s a longer quiz on road rules (still super easy as long as you study), and then the road test. For me on the road test they had me parallel park the car into a tight space marked with cones and you aren’t allowed to touch the cones and only are allowed a certain number of maneuvers to get it in. This was the hard part. Get through this and the rest is a piece of cake

The actual road test was just me driving on some regular roads and making turns at intersections where they told me to go and I got a license first try

Basically one of the most important things is to start off easy and slow. You’re not gonna have the skill to instantly be able to hop in and drive fast on the highways among other things and that’s ok. When I first drove it was just a short 1 mile drive on a low traffic dirt road and I only went 10-15 miles per hour. Little by little I worked my way up to driving on faster roads and for longer distances once I got used to it. Now many of my drives are 50 mile drives without stopping on the highways going around 55-70 for most of it.

And on some of these roads they’re the classic 2 lane rural highways with one lane in each direction and no passing, so these are the roads that it’s very annoying to be stuck behind a slow driver since you can’t safely pass. Don’t be that guy that’s holding up a line of cars because you want to go too slow for the highway lol. On one of these roads I use a lot it’s basically 30 miles of road you can’t pass on with a brief extra lane in one spot where you can pass, and I have to pass slow pokes all the time there

If you’re in a city you probably don’t see many roads like this anyway and they’re mostly gonna be 4 lane or more highways with multiple lanes in each direction and passing on these roads can be done at any time easily. If I’m behind someone slow on these roads I just carefully change lanes and go around them

Road test even for the permit? Dang that’s rough if so. Here the permit is just a written test that’s short
sounds great, i will definitely try out next year.
Based good luck. It helps a lot if a family member will be willing to help you learn

This thread isn't pro-suicide or anything, i'm just talking about it as a choice.

YOLO mindset is quite similar to LDAR mindset. Both are, in a way, essentially about giving up and surrendering yourself to being a leaf in the wind of life. When that happens, you stop living in the future completely, you don't care about the future, and you end up being stagnant and stuck till you die. No struggle, no striving, nothing to look forward to. It's technically over, either way. Both are about surrendering. Both are about coping.

Vast majority of people want and crave more or less the same basic things above all else, and those are what they prioritize. And there are no substitutes for them. If life is a sequence of 10 steps, you need to at least reach let's say step 5 to get some enjoyment, something to look forward to, something that makes the whole thing worth it. You can't skip any steps. People just lose all motivation and will, when their effort, sometimes even herculean levels of effort, goes consistently completely unrewarded. And once they reach their breaking point, they find solace in a variety of copes, whether that's rotting with drugs, alcohol, video games and porn, or going yolo and doing stupid shit you don't actually really care about.
