Conformal Cyclic Cosmology (CCC), proposed by Roger Penrose, offers one of the most extraordinary visions of the universe ever conceived. According to CCC, the universe does not have a single beginning and an ultimate end. Instead, what we call our universe is merely one “aeon” in an endless succession of universes. Then an event that is extraordinarily improbable in any individual aeon is no longer necessarily surprising when considered across an unlimited number of aeons.

But if reality provides an unlimited number of opportunities, improbability and impossibility become radically different concepts. And that would not be the limit.

There could also be versions in which your life differs in only one detail: you take a different route home one afternoon, make a different decision, meet a different person, choose a different career, or say something you did not say in this life. There could be versions in which nearly everything is identical except for one microscopic event billions of years earlier. There could be an effectively unlimited number of permutations of your life, each representing a different possible history. In that sense, the apparent miracle of our existence takes on a completely different character.

That's a good question. If we are born repeatedly looking basically like we do now, every event that can occur in our life eventually will play out. But the key word is "can". If we're repeatedly born ugly, will we ever experience the Chad lifestyle?

Also, are we condemned to be who we are now, looking like we do now, or can our consciousness take different bodies and be different individuals? It get very deep.

Yes. But "infinite universes" will occur in succession, not simultaneously (like in the multiverse). Each iteration will likely differ from the one before it. But whether we'll have different laws of physics is another question.
