Many people have dreams and aspirations to become mega-successful this or that in this competition to be successful or a standout. But, the reality is, it was over before it started if this is your mindset and you will not be fulfilled. Being a millionaire isn't special, for example, at all. Even have many millions (20+) doesn't make you a huge standout to be discussed. As you rank up in wealth your circles will be filled with people even richer than you'll and you'll always want to be them. Then you'll wakeup and be 45, wondering where your life went but you're too deep into this money race you can't just give it up.

The reality is, the farmer in some rural region who has a loving wife and cares for his family and attends church every week beat you in life, by a lot. He has people around him that actually care for him and that he cares for in a non-superficial or transactional way. All that matters is how happy you are at the end of the day and at 9:00 he'll be watching some Old Western with his loving wife thinking of good old times and you'll be stressing over the next business deal and your wife will hate you as always. He beat you without even trying. The only measure of your success is your daily average happiness. People are quick to say "UMM BUT BEING RICH CAN ALLOW YOU TO BE HAPPY". Perhaps, but that will be quite literally factored into your happiness average everyday. So, take some time to think about what it really means to be happy and not through the lens of your rich fantasy.

Wrong. There is nothing more fulfilling than having a huge positive impact on the world and helping the less fortunate which money allows you to do.

You have to be extremely rich for that to be the case. Are you serious? Having an impact on the world is also usually done through being a politician or activist, not a rich guy.

You think people here will get rich?

No, they will try and like I said realize they wasted their time trying to fill a void.

Money doesen’t buy happiness, but it can make your life a lot easier for sure.

Good post. Money won't make you happy, but it certainly makes life less miserable

You missed the point though. Did you read what I wrote? That's factored in.

To a certain point yes. Once you have enough to have the things you need versus you want, you're fine. It's about mindset but it's hard to alter your mindset. Some people genuinely are fine with their smaller house they have with their family, they don't need the huge house. That precisely is why they'll always be better off. They never developed that itch to always have more.
