I went to pick up an order, and I was at the counter—the bar—and this chick was a low MTB, probably in her late teens or early 20s, with light-brown hair, a good body, white, blue eyes, and such. I started talking to her about the order and asked her a question that turned into a conversation. We started talking about other stuff.
She was new to the place, and she would always smile at me. She’s new (3 months at the job) and she’s supposed to smile, so yeah, I should greatly discount this. I asked her what time people usually come there and when the place is most active. She told me around 6 or 7 p.m. and said that, since it was summertime, people usually came in with their kids after leaving the beach.
I think it was after that part of the conversation that, out of the blue, she told me,
“I know this isn’t related, but you should do modeling.”
I said, “Really?” She said yeah, and I said “Really?” again. She said, “Yeah, you should definitely do it. You’d be a great model.”
I told her I was flattered, and she smiled. We continued talking for a bit.
I was flattered that she thought I should be a model. I do get IOIs in public, but getting direct confirmation that my looks are good enough for modeling flattered me.
I told her to have a good day, and she said, “You too, see you soon.” I told her, “Hopefully,” and left. I think she wants to see me again.
No certainty or high probability yet.
I might go back there again to test the waters further, but I think there’s a non-trivial chance she’s interested.
