Your consciousness emerged from nothing once. Why many think it cannot happen again?

I’ve heard people say that we are immortal and all we know is consciousness. After we die we return to the earth, our energy distributed amongst the stars. Trillions of years later there is the hear death of the universe, followed by the big crunch and another big bang. A billion years later all the conditions for life are met and a version of us is born again. As far as we know we close our eyes and die and we’re again a trillion years later in the blink of an eye.

Even if we don’t fully recycle the first time the universe regenerates. Let’s say it takes a billion times to start over and finally have all the pieces that make “us” in the same place to recreate a simulacrum of who we are know. We won’t know the void inbetween we’ll only know consciousness.

From our point of view all we’ll ever know is consciousness forever. Death barely interrupts it.

This is actually good theory.
If universe is infinite then there are infinite versions of you.
If time is infinite then there are ultimate consciousness of you.

If time is infinite then everything is GUARANTEED to happen. So if we prove that time is infinite and never ends then it means that everything that can happen will happen - so it means that your consciousness will reincarnate infinite times.

I just hope that the next counsciousness experiences aren't something that a human would consider painful or uncomfortable...

bro are you intelligent?
Infinite means that you will live everything.
You will experience infinite chad lifes but you will also experience infinite lifes of Indian janitor.

I will exterminate all infinties and only leave a singularity.

You are one loose thread away from turning mad. You are not chad, you are nothing. You are but a thought in a single dream in a single reality.

While an infinite set contains an unlimited number of elements, it doesn't guarantee that each specific element or combination of elements will be present.
