People LDAR and suddenly get killed by a drone/air strike. Nothing exciting about it. They don't even get to see the enemy.They might hear a projectile flying 2 seconds before their death and that's the only adrenaline rush you'll ever get. Also in the modern world you are realistically not fighting for your country or your people but to protect someone's revenue stream. There's no honor in it anymore and I say this as someone who received a medal for their sevice. Prioritize your safety and your family above anything that's the only wise thing to do.
