There's been a lot of greycel threads I've been seeing asking retarded questions they all go like does my face app morph look good, how to achieve this, or like this me after this and this surgery so let me quickly shoot down the idea that you can look like your computer generated morph with some surgeries

FaceApp's algorithm is what's called in machine learning field. GAN(Generative Adversarial Network)
in simpler words a computer algorithm is trained on millions of attractive faces pulled from dating apps, Instagram, and modeling datasets. It doesn't respect human anatomy, it just statistically averages what looks hot and warps your photo toward that mean

It means face app morphs and the algorithm makes dozens of micro adjustments which are stacked on top of each other. Slightly narrower IPD, better jaw angle, hairline that's just 2mm higher, cheekbones lifted 1mm, lips very subtly fuller, skin texture smoothed in ways no scalpel can do. From a distance these tweaks and differences look almost invisible to the human eye. Like yeah I just need a nose job and jaw implants for that bro. Wrong these small differences add up together to completely rewrite the face. Surgeons can't do this. They operate on bone, cartilage, soft tissue. You can shave a jaw or implant cheek fillers but you can't perform 47 tiny shifts at once without the face turning into uncanny valley or simply what comes somewhat close to this is advanced makeup tricks like contouring but even those have limits. The morph is just a fantasy composite. That's it.

Water thread but unfortunately they need to hear this. The only way a morph is achievable is if it works upon a simple line (for example widening the jaw manually,) you can have morphs like that, that look very different from the original photo but are achievable, however FaceApp doesnโ€™t do that. FaceAppโ€™s morphs are automatic and carried out by the app itself as opposed to you optimizing each ratio manually, itโ€™s like if you deepfake merged your face with Jordan Barret.

If you looked at both pics for more than 30 seconds you'd notice the micro-adjustments done by the app
In the first morph you can clearly see the difference in the width of the lips

If you want a realistic morph you need to dedicated plastic surgery simulators. Like one clinic I went to used to use Crisalix to make morphs those are much more realistic and simulate rhinoplasty, fillers, jaw work, etc in the 3D space respecting human anatomy

Iโ€™ll tell you what Iโ€™m doing for it and know that I made a post about this already and said if softmaxxes donโ€™t work Iโ€™ll get surgery later since Iโ€™m only 17 rn.

Roids + bonesmashing + chewing for zygos and gonions

Couple sessions of aqualyx for cheeks

Botox for lower set eyes brows and better angle

My lips are already semi wide but Iโ€™m still using lip lengthening tools

I also am on hgh and will be starting Reta again

Idk why but in the morph my eyelashes vanished I have pretty decent ones

meanwhile they have custom trained their model on millions of pics like this so that its accuracy should be atleast in the 90's

It depends on your surgery results you probably would need bone implants but yes your morph also suffers from the same micro adjustments leading to big difference thing. Your eyes in the morph are unnaturally contrasting and your jaw drops off sharp angle bending in which are both unachievable and doing the heavy lifting

Thereโ€™s also some filters on faceapp that change much more than they are supposed to.

Like the classic cheekbone filter changes ur whole face itself

Speaking of which What do u think of long hair filter only on faceapp. Does it change ur face as well. Itโ€™s the only free filter I use sometimes.

Faceapp morphs like the one u posted are total copes even if achievable it wouldn't be cheap to change so many subtle things although I do think reshape morphs w some changes in jaw zygo and chin are achievable w fillers or impants

I think long hair is one of the less aggressive ones but it still changes stuff, it makes small framing optimization so the longer hair looks more flattering. It's rarely 100% hair only.

Yeah faceapps designed to make u look better somehow. I have noticed it increases brow density and lashes out of nowhere. Adds subtle shadowing to ur cheeks. And this is with only the long hair filter which is probably the weakest one on the app compared to other monstrosities.

And thereโ€™s people thinking those morphs are achievable..

People don't realize that is just an algorithm, it just rearranges pixels to maximize attractiveness based on patterns it learned. It simply makes the pixels prettier. Real life doesn't work like that.

Remini is also GAN but it is tuned very different it doesn't change much just guesses the pixels based on what's around it and increases the resolution of the pictures like it turns a blurry picture into something usable. Lots of phones these days also have it baked in these days.
