I may interpret these songs kind of differently but I like " Dont Wake me Up " by Chris Brown
The lyrics come across differently, by " If this love only exists in my dreams, dont wake me up " I interpret it as " if I wasnt born or Its not my destiny to be successful in any metric in life, dont make me go through this "
The sad yet slightly hopeful intro in combination with the dynamic main verse just throws me back at the times as a child where life felt so amazing and full of things and adding in the hopeless lyrics just makes it feel so special to me
How youre feeling and vibing the cope away to a happy melody but at the same time actually caring and beeing aware of the problems youre going through just holds a special place in my heart
