I did it a few times, but it was kinda stressful, public toilets in Romania are also in a pretty poor condition, sometimes they are covered in shit - peasants and uneducated people climb on them to use them like a squat toilet and shit all over the toilet seat, they usually don't have toilet paper(the minute a roll will be placed it will be stolen by the first guy who comes there) - and I saw this even at the toilets from my university - this was supposed to be a prestigious academic institution, but the toilets sometimes looked like from a third world country.
As for the people who treated the toilets like crap, they were mostly the guys from the religious university who were studying to become priests - most of them were low-class people from rural ares, very trashy, dumb, uneducated, etc. and of course the ethnics - I saw blacks, Arabs, Chinese, Indians, who came here to study who didn't flush, didn't wash their hands, etc.
