People mistake things like, bad nose, sceleral show, nct … so on with a recessed maxilla but that’s not always the case, sometimes the maxilla is just downgrown causing the whole face to grow downwards. This doesn’t mean you’re whole maxilla is recessed and some things like mandible/chin recession, nct, bulging eyes all those things can still happen even if you’re maxilla is alright.


Ps: sometimes the maxilla is just a bit flattish not completely recessed and an upward tilted maxilla is law because look at Alex schlab: extremely flat but upwards tilted one.
