This might just be me coping because corona has taken almost 2 years of our lives and I was 20 when it started, but as time passes I felt like I relate less and less to people just a couple years younger than me.

Feels like by 20 you need to have all your shit sorted which includes both your social/romantic and professional life (whatever you prioritize more), and any deficiency has you desperately playing catch-up.

Nobody told me this at 18 and I probably wouldn't have listened even if they did, but those 2 years are probably more important than learning how to speak when you're a toddler.

Same. It's crazy to think I'm 22. I still feel 20, like I didn't age or go through any of the things you go through like your 21st birthday, going to clubs with friends, upper class years in college, legally drinking, internships, etc. I was a sophomore in college just starting to get a social life before COVID and now I graduated with a degree fully online for past 2 years.

Now instead of being able to slowly get a girlfriend, memories, and friend group in college, I'm in the real world with 0 experience.

Maybe the best part about being an incel is you can always tell yourself that you don't have any regrets because opportunities never presented themselves to you.
