When you have a girlfriend, you should get sad when she hurts you and is talking about leaving. And that doesn't mean that you should get sad for yourself. You must believe that you are fine, but I think you should feel sad for her. For now, you have to believe that she's throwing the best man she'll ever get.

If you don't think so, it might sound like an exaggerated language. It's not puffery, you should feel genuinely sad for women who are about to lose you from their lives.

Women tend to have a subjective worldview. Women are deeply attuned to the behavior and actions of others. They can look for indicators that a man has lost confidence in himself or that he really believes in himself (and also how much he values them and what level of significance they hold in his heart - too much is bad as well as too little). Women are judges of men's behavior.

Most men should feel more confident as they grow older and exhibit more confidence. Women see this confidence in their men and cling tighter to them. Men attribute this attachment to having risen in the ranks, not to the real reason that is the behavior of the man with them and around them. The behaviors of truly confident men around his girlfriend will always affect the quality of their relationships.
