If you are a male and making videos on a particular topic that people have an appetite to watch, then you can be bottom of the barrell in looks and people will still watch if they still get entertainment value



I don't get why anyone would want to hear a fat asian man who's a casual fan of the NBA, talking about the NBA, but there is still an audience for it

If you are doing videos where you simply document your life so you aren't discussing existing topics, then looks will help but people are still willing to watch subhumans if they find them relatable or even to have pity on them like the ugly swedish guy

On tiktok and instagram it's much rarer to get any amount of engagement while having bottom of the barrell looks
