I’m technically gen z but I’m in the early bracket borderline millennial. The new stock of gen z are the most vile vicious social climbers I have ever seen and it’s not just because they’re teenagers. I can remember when I was at school that each class had a group of popular kids but it was no more than 12 per class, sometimes less than 6 and these people were the socially dominant alphas who used to act in the way the majority of gen z seem to act now. I hear their conversations about their peers, sometimes about their ‘friends’ and they are so cruel and malicious and point out their flaws and how they don’t get girls and stuff like that. Then you see the guy and he looks perfectly normal and might have even been considered attractive 20 years ago or something.
I know there are a lot of young people on this forum so I would be interested to hear your stories on what you’ve seen and heard people get up to. To be at school when I was young in the 2010’s was harsh. To be at school now would be a nightmare and I wasn’t even a social outcast.
