Taking Hgh at 18 for height

Im gonna get my growth plates/bone age checked and if there is growth potential im probably gonna get Hgh or some kind of height stack.
Im turning 18 in one month so hopefully its not over.
Saw some people on here saying that if your gh levels are normal then taking Hgh or other compounds to boost it wont make you taller because your body Can Only use so much.
