1.5mm for face microneedling too deep?

I used the 1.5mm I use regularly for my scalp on my face for discolouration, hyperpigmentation and acne scars, I didn't go as rough but I am 2 days out and theres still darkening and dryness that seems to be persistent. Hope I didn't fuck this shit up I couldnt be bothered buying a smaller roller but browsing it seems like 0.25-1mm is the standard for face. Anyone use 1.5mm?

Aint nobody got time to buy 4 different rollers but yea this seems right I did 1.5mm everywhere even around eyes and the redness has not subsided maybe I have to just buy a 1mm needle

As the other guy said, get the pen; it's 100 times better. I recently bought one, and it's worth the investment. It has different speeds, and I could switch it from 0.25 mm up to 3.0 mm or something like that. It's also very time-efficient since with the roller you'll probably take 20-30 minutes, and with the pen it only takes 2.Also, it applies equal pressure to all parts of the face, unlike the roller. Since you're the one applying the pressure, it's likely you don't apply an equal amount of pressure due to the pain.
