I’m exactly one month post-op and had all three done during the same operation: custom infraorbital/malar implants, custom jaw angle implants, and a sliding genioplasty.

My biggest concern right now is how much overall facial fullness I still have. The midface doesn’t just look puffy. The area underneath the malar/infraorbital region seems to project outward rather than taper inward, giving my cheeks a very rounded and convex appearance. There’s basically no inward transition beneath the cheekbone area right now.

I also still have noticeable fullness through the lower cheeks and lower third around the jaw. There isn’t much narrowing as you move down from the midface, so right now my face looks much broader and fuller overall than I expected.

I know one month is still early, especially since I had all three procedures done at once, so I’m trying to figure out how much of what I’m seeing is still swelling versus the actual result.

For anyone who had something similar, especially infraorbital/malar and jaw angle implants together, did your face still look this full and outwardly projected at four weeks? How much did the midface and lower-third fullness decrease between months 1, 2, and 3?

Well im 1 month post op fat grafting and I'm still swollen. Your surgeries were way more invasive.

It's swelling 100% bro, wait a few months and then assess.

And btw mirin your actions, good job bro. I hope that ur results come out amazing.

Appreciate it bro. What type of fat grafting did you have done, and roughly how much fat was injected? Also where was it placed specifically (midface/cheeks, under eyes, temples, etc.)?

Did you have subcision or anything else done at the same time, or was it strictly fat grafting? Just curious how extensive yours was and how your recovery compares.

I got trimax 1.5 months ago, still have some swelling left altought like 90% is gone, and it's all in the midface and paranasal/cheek area. That's the last it'll go away. Do not worry until 2/3 months post op, just focus on healing and debloatinf as much as you can

Yup, the paranasal/lower cheek area is where the vast majority of my swelling is concentrated as well. I wonder how much of this is contributed by the canulla subscisions, fat grafting and fillers I’ve had in that area for treating acne scars over the years

Was there a big jump between weeks 4 and 6?

Might have influenced it quite a bit, midface has naturally more fat pads than the lower jaw, and those absorb fluids and retain edema much longer. I don't see that much of a difference, there's very little swelling left and it goes away slowly. It's a linear decrease, you won't see much difference day by day. There are some days depending on diet/habits etc where you can rebound a lot, like one day I could see my hollow cheeks again and the next day be very bloated to the point where there is no definition.

Yeah that’s definitely contributing to the excessive swelling in that area. My skin is still my greatest falio by far imo. But I’m in good hands with dr Kosari.

What movements did you have for your jaws and genio?
