Just stuffed myself with healthy food and it's now time to embark upon this journey. Beyond five days will be unexplored territory for me and I'm excited about what this "experiment" will entail. First day should be easy, then it will become increasingly important to get enough electrolytes, drink enough water and so on and so forth.

Reasons I'm doing it:
  • Burn fat
  • Autophagy/cell regeneration
  • Save money
  • Save time
  • Cleansing
  • Cognitive benefits
  • Potential euphoria
If you want to give some advice or just call me a retard for even attempting to complete such an extreme endeavor then feel free to drop a comment down below. Daily weigh ins and waist measurements will be posted from the next time that I wake up.

Thanks! I've done like one day dry fast, but I'm not ready to do it for multiple days. Maybe in the future I will, but I will have to read up on it to take the necessary precautions.

I do 3 day dryfast, Anything past that is retarded since it kills your muscles. Also done 1 day dryfast into multiple day waterfast which is also good. Dont think doing a 1 week waterfast is ideal but you do you.

Anti-aging is one of the benefits. It takes discipline though, so I don't recommend it if you lack the necessary traits of character.

It burns fat faster, but can be dangerous if done incorrectly and people often report feeling like crap. Especially if you're active. I ended my 124 hour fast with like 12 hours dry, but it probably would've been better had I started dry and then introduced water.

Am I supposed to consume salt to get enough electrolytes?
Yes, sea salt is best, but I think any salt will do. Just a pinch or so couple times a day. If you start feeling lethargic then you can try having some salt and wait for an hour. Lemon juice can also be helpful.

I'm gonna start this fast dry (haven't drank since 15 hours), but that's not at all necessary. I think you should have 8 glasses a day, or maybe even more depending on how you feel and how much you move around.

I'm really sorry but I accidentally drank a little bit of a banana smoothie

I'm restarting the fast from zero now

I ate a BIG meal.

Red lentils with spinach and some other veggie + mayo (and curry for those .org gains)

Oatmeal with nuts, seeds, a banana, an apple and whip cream

100 grams of liquorice 70% dark chocolate with a nut mix

A nutmeg coffee with whip cream

Don't worry about salt until you're like 1 day into the fast.
