been taking 100k IU vit d3 (orally) every other day in the morning, some things ive noticed:
  • feeling sleepy after workouts and actually falling asleep for a nap, (previously couldn't nap)
  • better appetite
  • less insomnia, i can sleep at night on command even after taking an afternoon nap
I have noticed extremely good benefits for sleep combined with 1mg of cyproheptadine.
if you have imsomnia just take 100k IU vit D3 & 1 mg cyproheptadine

I take cypro clonidine progesterone magnesium glycine low dose t3 and some t4 for sleep

nope i ran out of k2, but i eat lots of eggs and butter and occasional cheese so i think im fine. im currently supplementing with magnesium carbonate doe.

these are the vit d cofactors:

here is a list of foods containing these:
magnesium: milk, oj , bananas, chocolate/cocoa powder, instant coffee
calcium: cheese, milk, eggshell
zinc: red meat, oysters, milk, eggs,
vitamin A: beef liver, butter, eggs, oysters, milk
vitamin K2: Cheese, butter, liver, egg yolk

So this is what you would need to eat ideally:
cheese, butter, liver, egg yolk, beef liver, milk, oysters, cocoa/chocolate, eggshell, banana, oj

turns out its basically the ray peat diet XD

So if youre eating these foods on a regular basis youre covered on all the cofactors.

t3 5mcg w/ some milk and honey is godly before sleep.

Should I starting eating meat for zinc. I already eat some eggs. Which is the beast meat for zinc? I’m getting selenium from broccoli so I don’t need oysters. I’m not sold on retinol nowadays

milk is enough tbh, just eat meat if you can afford it JFL, grass fed hamburger patties, ground beef, steaks all good

Wow 100k is insane, I’m taking 10k and still thought it might be too much though I don’t see the sun

medical trials in the 1900s used upwards of millions of IU per day for patients, i wouldnt go that high but taking even up too 200k per day wouldnt be to bad as long as your getting calcium, magnesium and vitamin k2, which are all abundant in milk.

That’s obviously not a good thing but is 1k iu of vit d3 supplements enough to stop vit D deficiency
