when u say normal expander u mean smth that doesn’t drill into ur skull? If so, never get that, waste of time and tooth tipping, waste of time waste of money and then your gonna need braces, get mse im 15 and im pretty close to getting a palate expander, my parents a bit strict so we went to 3ent doctors and the next is orthodontist, they all said I have issues so hopefully this ortho isn’t low iq, dont forget u need mse + bite blocks to prevent the cw rotation caused by mse expanding, marpe is the same but gives more cw rotation than mse, its faster but mse is what im gonna get because it works biologically with the body, not forcing any fast expansion or crap, so mse+biteblocks for u
