1st world dorks: so much free time and ennui that they actively seek out unenjoyable things

So BAD its GOOD - is one of those expressions that I associate strongly with the small souled bugman. Purposefully seeking out poor quality entertainment is something that only people with too much free time and a lot of ennui (which stems from having too much leisure in the first place) do. This is the entertainment equivalent of purposefully going to a diner that has a reputation for serving horrid food or bad service and then giggling like retarded monkeys that, yes, it really is as bad as reputed. The same kinds of reprobates that do these things are almost always the same ones telling you that their 9 to 5 is a slave labor job and the economy needs an overhaul, because spending 8 hours every night playing video games and 16+ hours on weekend doesn't leave any "free" time of course. The problem with 1st world dorks is not that they do not have free time for self development or economic mobility, its precisely that they have TOO much free time, time in the past that would've been occupied by family, community or work. This is a corruption; intentionally seeking out SHIT to revel in the fact that yes, it stinks, tastes and feels like SHIT.
