2 weeks of Accutane mogged entire skin care routine UPDATE

Mild back acnee i tried everything for the past 2 years,only doxycicline helped but just a little bit,i tried accutane for 2 weeks 20 MG a day ( low dosage ) for 2 weeks and then i stopped . Its been a month and 0 new pimples YET

I stopped taking it tho because side effects

-Dry skin
-Dry scalp
-Dandruff
-Dry lips

my side effects are 80% gone untill now

Stop spending tons of money on skincare routines,if the problem is from inside ( hormonal ) some shitty Vitamin C serum wont fix it

Side effects even from low dosage are kinda annoying THO . I had flaky skin on face because of that and rlly dry skin and dandruff . But i guess its worth it...

I booked my appointment with my doc it’s tomorrow. Can’t wait to not have back acne. Actually excited for a somewhat dry scalp because my scalp rn is oily as fuck

I feel so clean now without pimples on the back . Ofc the marks are still there but luckily the are not scars so they will fade away in 1-2 years completely

Idc about marks mine are painful. I just hope my facial acne goes away. Luckily I don’t have any marks since I use Benzoy Perioxide which doesn’t let inflammation get bad. I think my derm will give me a higher dose but we’ll find out tomorrow

strange, i noticed fuckin 0 dandruff when i took accutane same dosage. also taking it for 2 weeks isnt gonna do jack shit JFL you need to reach 120mg/kg as a cumulative dosage.
