GPT is retarded, I get million different answers 💀 💀 💀

You thought about that sequence yourself or it's something a bit familiar?
i invented it, yeah. but it doesnt use anything beyond fairly elemental algebra

I feel like GPT is wrong once again, too small of a jump

Idk if this makes sense
3*2+8
14*2+8+6
42*2+8+6+6
104*2+8+6+6+6=234

234

If we multiply 3 by 4 and add 2, we get:
3 * 4 + 2 = 14

If we multiply 14 by 3 and add 6, we get:
14 * 3 + 6 = 42

If we multiply 42 by 2 and add 20, we get:
42 * 2 + 20 = 104

If we multiply 104 by 1 and add 24 , we get:

104 * 1 + 24 = 128

Shit I got an iq of 110 and a degree in Math so fuck you for providing no context. Don't expect the average .org user to be able to respond to this.

@Ketamine Solve this shit. Show us why it's better for you to stay in uni and not drafted to die in a trench.

Note: It's probably a schizo question because it's made up by some joe

I thought I was Low IQ for not getting it but Turns it it's a dumbass pattern

270 but send the options

The answer can also be 288 shit test

explain all the "patterns" you found. chances are they are retarded
There is no explain your answers in iq tests . All of them have options as well. That’s the only way to cross check the answers

Explain or it's a random ass guess

Here’s one pattern I found all these numbers can be represented as a sum or difference between the square of a prime number and another prime number

3 = 1 ^2 + 2
14= 3^2 + 5
42 =7^2-7
104= 11^2 -11

One guess would be since the first two terms are additive and the last two subtractive the fifth one would also be subtractive and so the answer would be something like 13^2 -13 = 156 but can’t say for sure since there are no options. Options make it easier to calculate and not waste time stuck on pattern. No one will spend more than 10 minutes on a question in an iq test

1 isn't prime :pepesmug:

but there's no pattern because random primes are being used each time with addition and subtraction being chosen arbitarirly (plus as someone else mentioned 1 isnt prime)

270 is the right answer btw, i wanted to see how you got that

i also did notice that i fucked up because you can just google the answer and it comes up

This is what I did:

3 -- +11 --> 14 -- +28 --> 42 -- + 62 --> 104

11
28 = 11*2 +6
62 = 28*2 + 6 then

62*2 +6 = 130 and 104 + 130 = 234

You can probably find other patterns that give the same answer or different answers. I believe the whole point of these questions is to test whether the person has basic arithmetic skills and can see patterns. I guess most low-IQ people freeze with these types of questions so if you put several of them under a time constraint you can estimate their IQ.

It doesn't. Maybe cuz you already visited the place
