Once i cut im confident it will be much better than it was before when i was lean with little muscle

This short term sacrifice will all make sense once i cut

id rather wait to inject but ill keep it in mind
gaining muscle as a natural is a pain in the ass tbh but so far I've only been gaining strength and no more fat been at the same bodyfat for at least a month
and as long as my strength gains stay ill be fine if i didn't gain as much muscle as i thought cause at least i will be lean again

too much fat
yeah im recomping right now on less calories
I've always had a harder time getting lean even on 2000 calories a day i was at about 16% body at 193 near the end so for my metabolism too bulking made sense but i should be able to shed the fat pretty easily i just stall at 17% a lot of the times

nah im not really bulking anymore i cant gain weight anymore lolol
I'm just not cutting either i wanna get a bit stronger before i do

injecting gear can really fuck you up

Good progress. Stop saying he’s too fat. But I would agree with the roids.

thanks tbh i only see myself as fat if my stomach sticks out a lot
i used to be severely overweight so maybe my perception is skewed but i think i will stick to revival fitness' and his advice regarding this topic lol
idk if id ever really wanna cycle until later on cause so far I'm seeing good results on my lifts and i notice the muscle gain people compliment me daily on my results

Well let’s see how the cut looks. Post physique in few months ig.

If I'm being honest, you could have stayed at your before weight, and effectively recomped (leaner, more muscular). Used to think it was necessary to go through bulks, and cuts, but from recent experience and results, I've seen with my own eyes that recomping IS a good strategy and works VERY WELL when properly implemented.

Been maintaining/slowly dropping bodyweight while gaining strength at a good rate, AND growing my delts, back, chest, arms. Seeing big changes in my physique.

Only time you need to "bulk" is when your bodyfat is already low (8% and below), but even at that point, you can eat very close to maintenance in a "slight" surplus (100-250 cals). You'll gradually increase in bodyweight, and if you noticed you've added even a tiny bit of fat, you can just stabilize at that weight, and recomp there before slowly going up in weight again.

It's also a good idea to set a MAX weight you won't go over especially if your goal is to be LEAN and JACKED. A 5'9 peaked natty whose shredded will weigh somewhere in the 160s to 170 lbs. It's light, but when you carry a ton of muscle, you will look like you weigh 185-200 lbs.

Instead of bulking up to 200 lbs and being a big, but fat, bloated fuck, someone whose 5'9 should very slowly creep up to 170 lbs while minimizing fat gain, and once he's there, either recomp at that weight indefinitely, or cut down to 155-160, and repeat again slowly.

Intelligent but HARD training has made the biggest difference with being able to recomp for me. Swapped all barbell exercises for machines only and plenty of isolation exercises, started training to failure, gradual progressive overload, and never go below 10 reps. Easier to recover with my CNS and joints, can do more volume/sets, and grow more effectively.

IMO, you shouldn't go above 190 lbs (BMI 25) at that height natty IF you care about aesthetics, leanness, and looking good.

It's for health reasons as well, because coincidentally when you go above 25 BMI, you start increasing your chances of diseases and complications, sleep apnea, etc. You also wont look as good, and get in the territory of "too much" for females. Funny how the display of good health markers (staying in good BMI) also correlates well with attractivess.

Yeah lowest i could get was 195
Another reason why i want to gain muscle so my caloric needs raise so i can effectively cut better
Overall right now i just am going for strength for these next few months

It's why diet for cutting/maintaining leanness isn't as simple as calories in, calories out. Yes, that's what ultimately dictates the end result (weight loss/gain) from a thermodynamic and physics standpoint. But the TYPES of foods you eat (low fat, HIGH FIBER, high volume/satiating) dictate how easily you can maintain a deficit or set point of calories and HOW YOU FEEL (micronutrients and minerals).

I maintain leanness fucking effortlessly now where I used to struggle before. Lean chiseled face, abs, veins, etc. But it's completely due to my dietary choices. I eat close to a lb of vegetables with every meal (spinach, tomatoes, green beans), keep fats very low (20-50 grams/day max) (least satiating macronutrient with the most calories/gram: 9 from fats vs 4 from carbs/protein), stick to lean sources of protein like chicken breast, tuna, eggwhites, and my carbs come from high volume satiating sources like potatoes, and low fat popcorn. I also satisfy my sweet tooth with pints of Halo Top, and Enlightened Icecream (300-400 cals total, 20 gs protein, 20 grams fiber).

I'm never hungry on this diet, end up around 2300 calories/day, and hit all my micronutrient and mineral needs through my high vegetable and fish consumption without the need for a stupid multivtiamin or supps.

fat is also needed for hormonal balance i think me literally having fat in my diet probably made me feel shit for sure

When I include eggs in my diet, the saturated fat and cholesterol give me a noticeable boost, but honestly, even when my fats are as low as 30/day, I wake up with rock hard morning wood, and my energy/motivation through the day is sky high.

You also gotta remember that bodyfat itself increases estrogen through a hormone called aromatase. The leaner I am, the more T I produce (10-12% not below). When I was 200 lbs eating hella fats in my diet, my testosterone was a lot lower than me at 160 lbs now eating 30 gs of fat/day. So imo, the diet that allows me to stay lean will also allow me to produce the most testosterone more so than the amount of fat I'm eating

Yeah eggs are definitley a great source of fats and id say 12% would be a good cut off for me
Right now id shoot to be 15% bodyfat for myself

You shouldn’t even be thinking about bulking at that body fat %

Lean down to 15% then leanbulk
