Multiple genes contribute, tall genes from mother & tall from father. if short genes are missing in a certain father's & mother's chromosomes & those one's resulted in reproduction = tall.

my theory is that: guranteed way of having good looking kids (if you yourself is goodlooking) that you find a partner with very similar features so near impossible for a child to inherit most/all bad features while another child inherits most/all good features.
