apparently i had extremely tall grandparents. so it's just genetic recombination

You are 14. You had an early growth spurt, so you’re taller than everyone now but that might not be the case later. You can take supplements and do exercise and look at heighmaxing threads in both. Later in life, you can resort to more serious methods such as using pharmaceuticals. If this is not an early growth spurt you are lucky: you will probably grow to 6”1 maybe even 6”2-6”3
