Wouldn't focusing on clearing the outer lateral orbital walls increase interpupillary distance? [O.D.S. - High IQ users GTFIH]

Here's the animation [Orbital Decompression Surgery] Besides clearing orbital floors and backwalls to push the eyeballs back into the skull, wouldn't clearing mainly the external lateral walls: Force the eyes to move further apart? Even by a mm or two.

Eye separation ratio :- It is calculated by taking the interpupillary distance and dividing it by the bizygomatic width
