5k for fat grafting

Hi, i’ve gained these super nice scars through my brutal years between 17-19 until i’ve got prescribed accutane, since then i had 2 co2 lasers and 2 small localised subcisions before each. Recently i went to an actual plastic surgeon instead of just a dermatologist with lasers and after a careful consultation i’ve got this quote:

Treatment:

Fractional CO2 (DOT) laser scar treatment on facial scars, scar subcision, regeneration with nano- and microstructural autologous fat grafting into scars, liposuction from the selected area under local anesthesia

Price: ~ 4450 USD of local currency

What do you guys think, is it worth it? I have this kind of money but still it’s not cheap. The scars are mild to moderate they are not super obvious in normal lighting or from the front but still visible

Hungary yea spot on lmao, basically middle of europe, average salary here is 1k so relatively expensive. I’m not saying it’s a horrendous amount but i have never spent 1k+ on any cosmetic procedure so just wanted to know the global ranges

In the west any type of fat grafting by itself starts at 5k.

Full face laser by a plastic surgeon is 5-8k. Even if it’s just scars it won’t be much cheaper since you have them all over.

Good call on going to a plastic surgeon though. At least in my experience dermatologist largely suck at making progress at scaring, plastic surgeons don’t.

I can’t decide tbh if the 2 lasers did something, maybe box car scars have slightly rounder edges and the scars are slightly shallower but that might just be from 2 years of tretinoin + the fact that i’m still young, guys buy cars from this at my age but i mean this is a form of investment aswell

Ik ik, i’m fighting the norwood reaper since im 17, on finasteride + minoxidil since 19 and 3 months ago i had to switch to dutasteride 0.5 and oral min 5mg, DHT caused both these scars and AGA, good eyes for noticing tho

I mean i can’t blame her she turned it up to basically max power decent density and depth aswell but i have a bit thougher scars than whats treatable non surgically i belive

No she didn't she turned it up to the max power she's willing to provide treatment at. Not max power of the CO2 laser. No one would even use that for acne treatments.

Yea she did but that fades in like 15 minutes lol, first one my legs were shaking by the time she finished second one i probably got some nerves in my face already killed so that was better
