Cagrilintide is unironically the appetite suppression GOAT

I've been running Cagrilintide for a good few weeks now and ngl this stuff is actually cracked.

I feel like everyone talks about Retatrutide, Tirzepatide, GLP-1s etc. but Cagrilintide gets slept on way too hard.

I started on 0.5 mg because I didn't really know what to expect.

Thought it'd be mild.

It was not mild.

It absolutely deleted my appetite.

Looking back I'd probably tell people to start even lower, like 0.3 mg, then just slowly work up if you actually need more. People have this weird obsession with blasting doses immediately and then wondering why they feel like death. You are not speedrunning a peptide cycle. Relax.

Anyway...

The cool part is that Cagrilintide isn't just another GLP-1.

It's actually an amylin analogue.

Basically your body naturally releases amylin whenever you eat. One of its jobs is telling your brain that you've had enough food, slowing down how quickly your stomach empties and generally making you less interested in eating.

Cagrilintide is basically a much longer-lasting version of that hormone.

Which explains why you can literally look at food and just think...

"nah."

Not because you're forcing yourself.

You just genuinely don't care.

It's actually a weird feeling if you've spent your whole life thinking about food.

The reason I like it so much with Retatrutide is because (at least for me) after a while the appetite suppression from Reta chilled out quite a bit. It was still working, just not that stupidly strong "I accidentally forgot lunch existed" feeling from the beginning.

Adding Cagrilintide basically brought that feeling back.

Actual duo.

Half the battle of getting lean isn't training harder.

It's literally just not eating like a labrador that found the kitchen.

People massively overcomplicate cutting.

"What's the optimal macro ratio?"

Brother...

The optimal macro ratio is not eating an extra 1,500 calories because you got bored at 10 p.m.

Cagrilintide made that part stupidly easy for me.

I'd open Uber Eats...

Scroll...

Close the app.

Character development.

The biggest looksmax takeaway is pretty obvious.

Less hunger → easier calorie deficit → lower body fat → leaner face.

Face fat is one of the biggest PSL killers.

You don't suddenly grow a better jawline.

You just stop hiding the one you've already got.

Cheekbones start showing.

Jawline starts existing.

Face halo goes up.

You start mogging your bulked self.

Obviously this isn't some miracle compound that replaces actually eating well or training. It's just made staying consistent way easier in my experience.

My verdict

  • Appetite suppression is genuinely insane.
  • Start lower than your ego wants to.
  • Pairs ridiculously well with Retatrutide (for me).
  • Makes cutting feel way less miserable.
  • Peak "stop thinking about food every 20 minutes" technology.
  • Easy S-tier peptide if your biggest problem is sticking to a deficit.
10/10.

Would rather inject this than negotiate with my fridge every night.

Final thoughts

Overall, Cagrilintide has been one of my favourite additions for staying lean. It made dieting feel way less like a constant battle, and that's honestly half the game.

It's not magic, it's not going to turn you into Chad overnight, and you still have to train, sleep properly and keep your calories under control.

But if your biggest issue is that you're always hungry during a cut, it's definitely worth reading up on the clinical research and understanding how it works before deciding whether it's something you're interested in discussing with a healthcare professional.

Anyway, that's been my experience.

Hopefully this helps someone who's been on the fence or wondering how it compares alongside Retatrutide.

Thanks for reading.
