A question about my genetically asymmetrical jaw

Me and my dad got asymmetrical jaws and also my great grandpa, but my grandma didn’t get an asymmetrical jaw so my question is, why didn’t her jaw get asymmetrical. Is it some kind of genetic jump or something like that? Or is it that only guys get one?

Genetics already answered your own question. Not every offspring inherits each gene.

Genetics for facial structure are usually polygenic, which means many genes are involved. But it's also variable in expression and is not perfectly predictable, it's likely more noticeable in the male side due to testosterone and growth hormone, which makes jaw growth more pronounced.

you dont get every gene that is from your parents. your grandma might carry the gene of having the assymetrical jaw but not have it. Its like eye colour, both parents can have brown eyes but their kid can have blue eyes.
