I started losing weight on a fairly aggressive calorie deficit; right now, I’m eating an average of 800 calories a day, and I feel pretty good—I don’t feel very hungry or tired. I’ve been on this regimen for two weeks now and have lost about 5 kg. My question is: is it possible for my metabolism to adapt to this calorie intake, and am I actually losing fat rather than water and muscle? With such a calorie deficit, could my body simply stop burning fat as a self-preservation mechanism?

My current weight is 84; I drink 2.5–3 liters of water a day, I don’t do strength training, but I walk 10,000 steps a day.

yes your metabolism will adapt in 6-12 months. since your not strength training, and i assume your protein intake being very low. i’d estimate 30-40% of the weight your losing is muscle. i recommend hoping on reta and strength training for a cleaner process.

what is reta

Retatrutide, it's a peptide that affects your receptors and makes you feel less hungry. Works like magic I lose 6kg in 1.5-2 months without even working out
