When you move the maxilla forwards or protrude it, does it make the midface and jaw appearance seem longer?

No, it becomes more compact

It makes is appear longer from profile but the same head on.

Without a combined mandular advancement you actually will look worse, recessed

Oops I meant to say moving the mandible with the maxilla as well. Now what is it?
