Psychopaths are problematic precisely because they are unconcerned with punishment

The lack of concern for others isn’t necessarily autism because both autism and psychopathy can be the result of a lack of empathy. It’s just that psychopaths don’t care enough to be concerned about others while autistic people care about things at such an abstract level that they don’t factor in human emotions.

A lot of people are mix of traits

Most people have neither traits but I think people who have hyper masculine brains tend to fall generally in one of two camps

Either they are hypermasculine due to aggressiveness

Or hyper masculine due to intellect

The intellect part isn’t even really intelligence but how you see the world. Autism is defined by systemizing in thought. You can be an idiot but also be a high systemizer, you just systemize a ton of useless information. However the fact you feel the need to primarily systemize over empathize with the world is the masculine aspect of intellect.

Psychopathy/autism kind of reflect the two extremes of the extreme male phenotype bell curve.

Someone to the far left of the bell curve if male is more likely to be a psychopath (low impulse control which manifests as aggression because of the formidability of males compared to females which allows for greater aggression) where as someone who is on the far right of the curve is more likely to be autistic or have autistic traits (high systemizing or rather a desire to understand the world regardless of actual capacity.)

These things don’t necessarily reflect intelligence proper but rather extreme masculine attitudes towards reality. Meaning traits that rarely appear in females regardless of intelligence.

The bell curve itself is defined by a lack of empathy (a masculine trait) and how one expresses that lack of empathy depends on where they fall on the curve.

Extremely subjective, self interested lack of empathy puts you at the left end and makes you a psychopath.

While extremely objectively interested lack of empathy puts you on the autistic right end.

One ends up a criminal in jail or murdered in a gang war, the other ends up a scientist or philosopher that forgoes reproduction or commits suicide due to extreme abstraction.

It’s very messy but that’s basically how I see these traits. Many factors influence where an extreme male may fall on the curve like testosterone levels, social feedback, environment, etc.

For example I think most “successful” psychopaths fall towards the middle of this curve

Most criminals fall towards the left

And most research scientists fall towards the right
