about epiduo (acne treatment product)

yo boyos, i recently got epiduo from dermatologist, and i was wondering if i should use it everyday or just few times a week. i heard it can overly dry skin/irritate if used every night. please lmk if u have any informatio/experiences with epiduo. thanks alot.

It's benzoyl peroxide and adapalene

Adapalene is a retinoid so should be used 1-2 times a week

BP will stain your clothes BADLY so be VERY careful

Overall its a really shitty product it did nothing for me.

Eat the primal diet and supplement 100mg zinc, 1000mg Pantothenic acid.

im alr eating primal diet, might need to add those supplements tho.

I just got epiduo like 3 days ago, used it for 3 days in a row in the night and my skin is really dry, its also peeling and its really red, i did accutane like 2 years ago and it saved my pizza face but i still get a bit of acne from time to time, i also have shitty skin texture and my derma told me this might help a bit combined with a moisturizer

My derma trolled me hard then, he told me that with epiduo i should do it every night for the first 2 weeks so my skin adapts faster then i can use it 2 to 3 times per week, i don't care that much tbh acne isn't a real problem for me rn but i was planning on shooting my shot to fine shyt this friday but my skin looks all dry and there's noticeable dead skin peeling

Btw are you knowledgeable in dermal problems? im such an ignorant regarding this topic and i have a couple of questions regarding seborrheic dermatitis

My derma trolled me hard then, he told me that with epiduo i should do it every night for the first 2 weeks so my skin adapts faster then i can use it 2 to 3 times per week

i guess it kinda makes sense but best approach is to do it the opposite way. start with like twice a week and slowly let your skin get used to it until you can handle using it everyday. its a slow process but that way your skin wont be completely fucked while using it

shit bro very shit, i hopped off epiduo started eating naturally and using few natural skincare products and finally my skin is healing and starting to look good

honestly the first days my skin was very dry and looked like shit but now it looks great because i use moisturizer right after epiduo, it got rid of most of the acne already but if i don't apply it one day then acne comes back again, while before using it i did have acne but not much and i almost never had new spots coming, i probably will hop off but idk

bro the first days of my use it hurted alot, then my face was basicly just fucking red all the time, then after like 2 weeks my fucking skin looked like this.
so basicly it just made my skin irritated, then just ALOT worse than before.
