I believe ideas coming from an emotional standpoint which are presented as objective is wrong and yes it annoys me since it interferes in my will to power.

So at one point do you think individualism should triumph over the group? What about in cases of justice?

I used to think like you but then I realised being dismissive of such a major component of human experience is foolish

I'm not dismissing emotions, I just think basing things off emotions is poor and you need to be self aware of how irrational/emotional your point is (since humans are irrational it would only be natural our points are irrational).

I'm not generalising, just simply asking when do you draw the line for utilitarian ethics

I made a rough model in my head where the goal was to maximise the total lifetime utility of every living being subject to time based discount factors and species wide discount factors based on biological sentience levels. further there were some constraints, such as the utility of no being should fall below a certain level, unless they perform immoral acts (so already had to appeal to deontology) which result in mass reduction of utility in other(s).

but even with that I'm sure you could find multiple exceptions where I would intuitively disagree with what the optimisation problem suggests is "right". so you keep adding more constraints and you don't get anywhere. at some point you have to realise it's futile, say fuck it and appeal to intuition

1. Homosexual men have a higher suicide rate than mtf women. you can lower a homosexuals suicide rate by becoming mtf. (yes ftm increases suicide rate). it should be assumed that all potential transgender mtf who didnt transition have a higher suicide rate than transitioned transgender women.
