Higher dosage = faster results = increased risks of side effects

Safest is what you said and another option 20mg/EOD or 10mg everyday

I also have dry skin (but could just be that I'm not drinking enough water even though it's close to clear)

im currently running accutane at 20mg for the first mnth, 40mg 2nd month, and 60mg for months 3-6 then potentially another 2 months of 60mg to make sure my acne is gone for as long as possible. It might ruin your liver doing that dose for such a long time but ive got liver support supps so im chill.
