Accutane Dosage

I'm curious what the most optimal Accutane dosage for me would be.

I'm currently taking 20mg of Accutane daily. My skin has been improving over the last month before I even hopped on accutane just a couple random pimples that pop up every now and again in conjunction with some very light scarring.

Is 20mg daily optimal or should I go lower?

10mg? I'm going through an actual dermatologist not indiamart btw

I think you should do 10mg a day for a month before moving upto 20mg the next and if you still have acne 30mg the following month
otherwise then just chill at 20mg until your dose is over

so if youre 70 take 35

otherwise then just chill at 20mg until your dose is over

I just finished my first month on 20mg and it got worse bc of the "purging" phase. I already renewed my subscription for 20mg yesterday so I'm thinking the most optimal thing to do is see how this next month goes on 20mg and then follow your advice for the following months. If it gets better lower dose if it gets worse higher dose.

im 80kg and i gake 40mg daily

im around 70kg - 72kg. very interesting ive never heard this one before. what would ur response be to the other guys saying to lower the dosage

20mg is fine. don't lower it if you don't have crazy sides.

and lowering/upping the dose in general is risky with accutane so I'd see a derm

but im assuming that's not an option so don't raise/lower it

the purging will go away, lowering the dose doesn't really do much for purging, they're still meant to come out on the surface at some point.

just chill with 20

then just ask your derm

liver enzymes play a role too, and he might even tell you too up your dose if there's not much liver toxicity

You're at the lower end of the usual dosage so if your body let's you, id up the dose
