I wake up today with severe nose bleed from accutane. never seen that much blood in my life lol. should i lower the dose from 30 mg to 20 mg or what

its because of the dryness in your nose be carefull when you pick it. Or when you blow the mucus out

If you're on accutane you need to drink a lot of water, I also wouldn't say lower dose. just drink a good amount of water occasionally

I got bad sides roughly around that time too, but it got better. I think you should stay on it for an extra 2–3 weeks. if it gets worse then lower it, but if it stabilises (the sides) then chill at that dose.

Since your asking here and not your doctor, in guessing youre doing it without prescription. You should still consult a doctor and just be honest that youre using it and he is probably gonna do bloodwork

Thats interesting, I had a nosebleed on accutane but I started drinking water more often and it was fine. this effect comes from nose dryness so if water doesnt work try saline nasal spray

You should probably get bloods done on liver lol you could have high liver tryglycerides and are reaping the consequences of that
