accutane + tretinoin

I already use tretinoin and I'm planning on using accutane pretty soon, do I have to cut out tretinoin completely?

or could I still use it here and there since I've heard tretinoin is really good long term as it promotes cell turnover and skin elasticity while accutane just makes ur skin stop producing oil if im not mistaken

basically i wanna keep using tretinoin or is that not an option if i were to utilize accutane

since ik both at the same time would completely destroy my skin barrier but is there no compromise?

NO you have to drop tret if you want to go on accutane there is NOTHING you can do to change that.

I was on 60mg ed and tret 0.25 2 times a week and it completely raped my skin barrier
