Been on 40mg for around 2 months 150-160lbs. I was mainly dealing with whiteheads and some pimples which accutane got rid of but my lips are always hella cracked and also the skin around it is dry and always peels off. The nosebleeds are also getting really annoying now since its much hotter where I live making it harder to get good sleep. Should i js do a lower dose or stop and see if my ance comes back? If dropping to lower dose is 40mg every other day same as 20mg not tryna buy again cuz shipping is like half the cost.

Never lower the dosage.. Just get the cumulative dosage over and done with then you're acne free.

If you still have breakout don't lower your dose

Why would you lower the dosage? You're just going to be on the drug longer when everything you're saying has an easy fix.

I get 2-3 nosebleeds a day, and I am on my second time on Accutane, 12th total month. You can go to an ENT doc to get your nose cauterized.

ive tried those fixes I dont see the point in keeping the same dosage if all my acne is gone already and I can just lower it for less sides

Because accutane isn't about "using it till the acne is gone" You're supposed to hit a cumulative dosage.

Lowering the dosage will literally have you on it for so much longer when it's better to just get it over and done with. Don't get complacent
