Accutane

I’m going on accutane in less than 3 months and I’m just wondering if anyone experienced bad side effects and I’m not talking about dry lips or eyes that’s fine but more so mental or internal like i experienced I huge appetite loss after being on doxycycline. If anyone’s been on doxy can they lmk as well if that’s happened to u ??

i was on doxycycline and I did also loose some appetite, but maybe it was because i would drink alot of water with it. For accutane you get depressed or anything, people only get depressed from it because of the existing acne present.

I’ve learnt to accept my acne ngl and I still pull even when I had worse acne so I should be chilling and a purging phase doesn’t even last that long appreciate it bro how much doxy were u on

Started accutane on december 10th and felt really depressed after christmas until end of january, but might be because i didn’t eat enough because it actually kinda surpressed appetite for me and I kinda purged.
Didn’t have a problem with libido but tbh i fuck my gf like 3 times a day since i’m 14 and/or jerk off so never been a problem for me.
Been tapering up from 20mg/day to now 60mg/day until i hit 10k mg cumulative dose, after that i’ll take 10mg for life and I didn’t get a single spot since at least a month now. Scarring takes a while to fade.

Also make sure to not be on a high dose in summer because even if u use spf ur scarring will be worse

I'm on isotretinoin for my second time and nothing has really happend the only thing is your gonna loose your appetite and get some headache here and there so if i was you i wouldn't worry about some crazy side effect

That’s fine for me appreciate u G worst thing is joint pain cuz trying to do plumbing and tiling with back and joint pain is rough
