acne and eye bags

I have a dermatologist appointment next week. This isn't my first time visiting this clinic, but I find it strange that they didn't recommend any SPF during my treatment. I want to suggest using a tretinoid gel for my skin and acne, and for my dark circles, I was thinking of a peptide and caffeine serum. What other products would yall recommend?
