I’m genuinely getting so fed up with acne.
So i knew that acne was in my familys genes as my brother and sister have had pretty bad acne which only got fixed with some kind of drugs.
I myself though thought that i was safe from it as i never had bad acne and i was 16 already. Then it started on last autumn, i was stressing a lot for personal reasons and i started breaking out at around september.
Then it got to the point where my face had like 7pimples and it started affecting my confidence as i never had acne before so i got a receipt drug for it which was epiduo and antibiotics. I had good hopes for them as they were something a doctor recommended me but unfortunately it only got a lot worse. I kept using and using the patiently but only thing i was seeing on my face was more and more acne. I gave them like a month or two and it was a huge mistake.
I was at the point where acne was affecting my mental health and confidence a lot and i would do anything to get rid of it. That’s why i decided to do some research and i came across accutane. People were saying it’s the best drug for acne so i knew that’s what i needed no matter the ”side effects”. In my country, accutane can only be prescribed by an dermatologist. A private one would have costed like 300€ and i didn’t have that kind of money so i went with the cheaper route, public dermatologist. I’m too lazy to write the full story but basically i had to wait for like 1,5months to see a dermatologist. The wait was absolutely hell, seeing my skin getting worse and worse and all i could do was wait (at this point i was eating as clean as i could, no sugar, no fast food, a lot of water and nothing was helping.
Then the wait was over and i finally got my accutane. The thought that i was on accutane and my acne should clear up with just the matter of time helped me a bit to accecpt the acne. I had a little purge state just during the first week. I’ve been patiently using it for a month now and i’m getting so fed up with this because i’m not seeing any progress. I’m eating clean, i’m taking it with a fat source, i’m drinking a lot of water, i’m washing my face with a good product 2x a day. I don’t think i could do anything better for my skin but it just won’t clear up. Last 5months have been the worst period of my life and it will keep going as long as thid acne stays on my face.
And oh i forgot to mention, during the waiting phase to get my accutane my acne changed from just pimples and redness to deep cystic acne.

That's harsh bro

Start with 0.05% tretinoin cream to remove mild acne. If the situation persisted, go for 0.1% tazarotene gel, and if u dont see any results after several weeks, it’s time for accutane

Alright then, u can either get blue/red light combination therapy to kills the bacteria that contributes to acne or just get fractional lasers (IPL) to wipe off stubborn acne and improve scarring

I would appreciate if u mark this post as your solution
