There’s a upper-mid tier Becky eGirl on my dorm floor that I’ve been trying to slay for a week or two. She’s probably 4.75psl right now, but if she worked out a little bit she could probably be pushing 5.5. Introduced myself to her and hung out for a while. There was some connection, but I knew that if I had tried to advance there I would have been turned down and lost all my leverage, plus I had heard from a mutual friend before that she said I was “not her type”.

So I swallowed the aloof pill and started acting distant. At most a wave or a nod here and there when passing, one word replies to her snaps, etc. One of her friends asked me a couple days ago if I liked her romantically and I responded with “She’s ok, but not really my type.” 10 mins ago her roommate stopped me in the hallway and basically begged for me to ask her out on her behalf.

I don’t imagine it will help very much for truecels, but Aloofmaxxing seems to be a pretty effective strategy for slaying someone who’s about your looksmatch.

The reason is because when you act aloof, girl is scared that is the best she can get and so dates out of fear of losing the best man she can get with. It is also because when a woman is not accepted by somebody, there is a voice in her head that wont shut up about it and will constantly be wondering "why doesn't this person like me? What is wrong with me?", which gets so bad that they want to relieve the tension, and so try to act friendlier, conforming more to you, etc. This actually makes the chances of something happening higher because she wants to make you like her and convince herself that she is worth something. This is why woman are attracted to dark triad guys: because they want to quell the voice in their head that tells them they are worthless.
