For years I thought the curve of people into cosmetic surgery and more and more aggressive looksmaxxing would just make it go full mainstream one day. I realized today male (and also female) height won't likely change more than a few cms in the next decades and very likely will stay very close to what it is now in 100 years since nutrition and health are already peak in the major West (Europe, NA and Australia), just as NBA's average height has been 6'7 (2,01m) since 1987 without any actual fluctuation.
This led me to realize as much as guys like Clavicular will be more common, that's just about it: actual, aggressive looksmaxxing won't ever be mainstream, the most radical thing that will happen is people getting more into softer surgical cosmetic interventions such as light, subtler implants and fillers.
Looksmaxxing will always be a niche thing, and that's actually good for us. Remember in school when you had your reclusive group of nerds babbling about nerdy stuff and then a bunch of other people joined it on a whim and suddenly it all lost touch with itself, becoming bogus? That's just what would happen with looksmaxxing if it went more mainstream than it already is.
