No vyvanse in muh Europe the best continent, only Ritalin here and it has 30% chance of not working good
Type of place are u living in? Vyvanse is a god send. Long acting and consistent. Cannot be abused no matter what you do, unlike Ritalin or adderall. Just lol

Every European country has only Ritalin for adhd treatment and Ritalin is quite unreliable because there's a good chance it doesn't even work, and in general it gives anxiety, jittery, a cocaine like high, not exactly ideal for studying
The meds actually make things worse. I have ADHD too and I can barely notice it. It definitely gets better with age especially if you stayed off drugs. Everyone I know who has ADHD and then takes meds like Ritalin or whatever ended up way worse than I did, I can easily pass as NT, everyone I know who took Ritalin, definitely can't.

I can’t agree with this. Before meds my adhd led to me having a racing mind that only hyper focused on one subject. General focus was bad and procrastination was severe. On vyvanse it’s all fixed. I can dedicate myself to something now
The meds have probably caused permanent damage to your developing mind and you now have to rely on them. ADHD isn't a disorder, it's an adaptation, pharma "treatments" stunt your mental growth, if you weren't given any meds you prob would be relatively fine compared to your younger self, and if anything, relatively superior.
Tbh, adhd always gets me hyperfocused on some random ideas, hobbies or topics for a few hours or days and distracts me severely from studying. People with adhd also are too low inhib for the future and don't care what happens until too late

It just means it’s over diagnosed. It doesn’t mean that it’s fake as a whole. Adhd confirmed through neurological tests isnt fake
During childhood a kid isn't taught discipline properly & as a result, his prefrontal cortex is smaller. Seems like basic cause & effect to me, not a mental disorder (like schizophrenia & autism).
One of its potential causes is beyond development. Smoking during pre natal development can induce adhd in the child
They say that certain diets & being younger than 20 will increase the likelihood of ADHD as well though. Ima stay skeptical of the whole thing.
Cope, i live in a trad society and lots of kids have adhd, it's genetic, my father also has it
how does depression play into it. I think I have it. but was not diagnosed by therapist. probably bc I was afraid they would group me in with some dangerous incel crap or something else. jfl
