+ forced the hands of the USA, Italy and Britain, entire countries because of aesthetics and illusions
no one will rally behind a party without a strong aesthetic appeal (the communist and nazis had strong aesthetic appeal)
this is important in a lot of things but this is why formal and professional clothes and style are important in politics
