indoctrinating the population into overcoming prejudices in the short term simply isn't feasible, it takes time. no matter how much propaganda you blare at them, it won't have enough impact to give the marginalised an equal footing to their privileged peers.

so the only logical solution is to provide them with preferential treatment and enforce diversity quotas to ensure everyone has access to the same opportunities
