I moved to a brand new city and started university. I’m doing my best in school and trying to socialise with people, but it’s quite rare to move to a new city to study in my country. It’s not like the US. All of my classmates already live in the new city and have no incentive to make new friends so I’m just left to rot in the weekends by myself.

After the first month with all the events the school hosted my weekends have been looking bleak. I joined a football team, but the season ends next week. As an adult it’s more difficult than I thought to make friends. I got people I hang with in school but as I mentioned earlier no one wants to link up during the weekends cause they got their own friends.

Also dating apps are dead so it’s not like I can just swipe and hang out with a landwhale either. I’m left alone with my thoughts and I can see the way the rest of my 20s are gonna pan out.

I’ll finish my bachelor in 3 years and move back to the city I was born in at 25. All my friends that I’ve sporadically tried to keep in touch with will have found a LTR and a full time job. Time will be scarce and I’ll dedicate myself to work since I have nothing to come home to and I like my job. I may or may not have fully fucked my self over.

I switched to being temporarily MGTOW. I've chosen to not pursue women, or trying to get girls until I'm 10% bodyfat and locationmaxed, which will take a few years to achieve both.

Sounds brutal, but it's good to hear you are trying something entirely new. New place too.
I would try that running idea you had and try out some other ways of connecting with people too, since you need it.

Just remember you don't have to be stuck in this lifestyle, this life-path set out for you for the rest of your life if you are not enjoying it.
