AI and balding

Started AI last year when I was around 16, now 17. Grew from about 5'11 to 6'1 and have started to greater notice hairline recession. Should I completely cut out the AI or taper down to prevent further hair damage, or is there anything else I can do to conserve hair without stopping the AI?
